About the Lodge

“NELSONS CABIN” is a luxurious 3-bedroom lodge owned and managed by the Leisure & Amenities Fund HMS NELSON. The purpose of the lodge is to provide current serving personnel based in HMNB Portsmouth the opportunity to enjoy a break with their families in the New Forest.

The lodge is located on the 5* ‘Shorefield Country Park’ in Milford on Sea. Hire of the lodge includes access to the all the facilities on site, which include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, a gym and luxury Spa offering a range of treatments. There is also an amusements arcade, tennis courts, Astroturf, and several children’s play parks.

The site also has various dining facilities, bar areas and entertainment for all ages. Local attractions include Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard and Hurst Castle. Living & Dining Area

A cosy, welcoming and spacious space, perfect for relaxing and spending quality time. Two sofas, a Smart TV and Blu-Ray DVD player. There is also a sofa-bed for additional guests.

Kitchen

The lodge has a fully fitted kitchen, including gas over, 4 ring hob, dishwasher, washing machine and full size fridge freezer. Everything is provided for you to feel you are home away from home.

Bedrooms

The lodge features three bedrooms. The master double bedroom includes a king-size bed, ample wardrobe and storage space, a dressing table, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The property includes two additional bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds, wardrobes, and small televisions.

Additionally, there is a large family bathroom equipped with a full-sized bath and a shower unit.

Outside

The exterior features a private deck complete with outdoor furnishings and a parasol, as well as convenient parking space right outside.

Payment Terms:

Deposit

Upon confirmation of your booking request by the LAF office, please ensure to make a deposit payment of £100 within two working days to secure your reservation.

Remaining Balance

The outstanding balance is required to be settled in full six weeks before the hire date; failure to do so will result in us reserving the right to cancel your reservation.

Hire Charge

The hire charge covers the expenses for cleaning, gas, electricity, site fees, and VAT, as well as park passes for access to all on-site facilities. While bedding is provided, guests are required to bring their own towels.

Pets

Pets are permitted, however, an additional cleaning fee of £30 will be incurred. Any damage to the property, fixtures, or fittings will result in charges to the individual renting the facility.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your booking, refunds are processed in accordance with the timeframes below:

More than 12 weeks	Complete refund of all monies paid
6 – 12 weeks	Deposit is retained unless a replacement booking can be made
Less than 6 weeks	Deposit is completely non-refundable

We recognise that the requirements of the Service may necessitate changes to plans. Should you need to cancel or modify your booking due to the Service's needs, please reach out to the LAF Office to discuss your options.
